Turning Point Healthcare Advisors, Inc., was founded in 2006 by healthcare consultants Beverly Schulman and Dennis Wilson, who combined have more than 50 years of experience in working with hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare providers. Beverly Schulman is the president of Turning Point Healthcare Advisors, Inc. She has more than 25 years experience in strategic planning, site and facility master planning, marketing, business development, financial forecasting and analysis and operations in consulting firms, hospitals, healthcare systems, and other organizational settings. Ms. Schulman received a B.A. from the University of Denver and has an M.S. in Health Administration from the University of Colorado. Dennis Wilson is a partner and senior vice president with Turning Point Healthcare Advisors, Inc. He brings a broad range of expertise in financial modeling, third-party reimbursement, financial analysis, managed care contracting, and strategic planning. A former CFO in a major teaching hospital, he has helped clients improve net income by enhancing productivity, developing new sources of revenue, and improving business office functions. Mr. Wilson has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Jaren Wilson is a Senior Consultant with Turning Point Healthcare Advisors, Inc. He has experience in strategic planning, marketing and market research, new business development, operations management, capital budgeting and financial reporting. He provides market research and forecast modeling support for client projects. Mr. Wilson has also authored or provided research for articles on contemporary healthcare issues.
